Couples and families
Family travel insurance policies include an unlimited number of children under the age of 18, including step and foster children. In addition, those under 23 are classed as children on family policies if they are still in full-time education. (In this case, please call 0800 083 2466 for a quote.) Unmarried and same-sex couples are treated in exactly the same way as married couples, provided they have been living at the same residential address for the last 12 months.
What you need to tell us
To ensure that this insurance provides adequate cover, it is important that you tell us if you have any existing medical conditions. You must also tell us anything that is likely to influence us in the assessment or acceptance of this insurance. Failure to do so may mean that you have insufficient cover in the event of a claim.
Policy excess
In most cases, an excess of £60 applies to single trip policies. However, we do not apply it where claims are just for benefit payments - for example, for travel delay. Alternatively, you have the option to remove the excess, if you wish. For each claim, we only apply one excess per person, regardless of how many sections of the policy the claim covers.

Please note that our travel insurance is only available to people who have lived in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Man) for more than 3 months (single trip policies) / more than 6 months (annual multi-trip policies).
